I think it is related to craigslist. At least I got a call from them and couple of similar guys after I replied with my phone number to some ad (job ad).

I got a call from this number today. I didnt answer the call because i didnt know the number. Im glad i dont answer random numbers!
why would a Alabama safe company call Californian numbers? Either its a new form of virus .....or rahter some nitwits with time on their hands using disconnect numbers as a gag...or telemarketers that I guess dont know what they are doing because I dont answer numbers I dont know. If someone I know doesnt leave a message then that's their problem but all who know me leave messages or their name is already in my phone. Also...anyone "talking to the telemarketers here on these pages"..?? telemarketers are not reading these pages. So I guess its phone spam and even being on do not call lists doenst help if they use programs for phone call rotations..

I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
