A call from Carrie Russell seeking address and phone number to send me a cheque ... An e-mail from Dinesh Pawar confirms she is an employee. However, cheque never arrives and the only Carrie Russell I can find is an ebook author whose book is sold by Amazon. To me, these calls are identity scams from someone who has pirated Amazon.com' s address...I do have a digi-rights account with mobi-pocket (which Amazon.com bought) and I think they have hi-jacked my account with mobi-pocket
Carrie Russell is in Accounts Payable at Amazon. If you need to contact her, call the main number and ask for her. I am sure she can clear this up for you. It's unlikely that it's a scam, but do reply if you don't get it sorted out.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
