The recorded voice idenified itself as BECU, and said "call this #, it's important." My husband has an BECU account. He went BECU, and asked about this call. The BECU teller told him, the # is scam, nothing to do with BECU.

I received a call from this number and when I returned it - I spoke with a live person stating it was BECU's Loss Management Department.

I received several recorded messages left on my home voice mail. The call was a "robo call" and stated they were from BECU loss management. I called the number and was put on hold and told all representatives were busy. this went on for several minutes so I hung up. Recording states: "Hello this is an important message from BECU, it is important that we speak with you, please call us back as soon as possible at 206 439 5787 or toll free at 1-8002332328 EXT 5787. Repeated the numbers twice. We look forward to hearing from you." Only after dialing into this number did the recording identify the caller was from "Becu loss management" and to please stay on the line for the next available representative.

This number left a recorded message that said they were the Loss Management Department at BECU. I called back and they wanted to identify me by my mothers maiden name and the last 4 digits of my ssn to start. I was uncomfortable about giving that info out, so I googled the number and found this site.I then called the BECU number that was on their website. It is the same company. The phone number is legit. I was past due on my visa payment and they wanted to let me know that they already took the fund from my checking and put it into my visa.

I just got a call, made a payment. Its BECU & its legit. Friendly live person, no problems, even called BECU back to confirm.

Paypal caused an NSF on my account. Now I am getting collection calls from BECU. The message I got today was"Hello, This is an important message from BECU. It is important that we speak with you. Please call us back as soon as possible at (206) 439-5787 or toll free at 1(800) 233-2328 extension 5787. Once again, the numbers are (206) 439-5787 or toll free, at 1(800) 233-2328 extension 5787. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you."
