Received the same call from "Peter Scott" with the IRS. Knew this call was fraudulent so I didn't bother calling back. The IRS communicates by written letter. I hope fraud enforcement catches up with this jerk!

Left a voicemail using a computer generated, approximately female like voice. Not even a very good one, obviously a computer. But the message was so garbled, they did not give me a compelling reason to call back. Blah blah, blah call back on the 'same number,' repeat 'same number'. It was here that I found out it was an IRS scam call.

Got a call twice yesterday from 254-613-9138. I didn't answer- left voicemail that he is from the IRS and there is a warrant for my arrest. Told me to call back immediately before the warrant is issued in my home state. I ignored and received the same call this morning only from 206-565-0453 (my home state). Made me nervous. Glad I looked it up here. Scammers are scary.

I have received several calls from a number that when you reverse look up it comes up as IRS the people who answer the call claim to be agents/officers of the IRS.

Robocall from IRS scamming for personal info. These idiots must think they're using a tel # from Washinton DC, but picked Washington state in error!

My caller called me on Thanksgiving Day...HA! As soon as I hear the word 'Kindly' call us back, I know it's someone calling from India. That's their key pharse starting with KINDLY PLEASE. My caller wasn't calling about an IRS debt but to say that there is a warrant for my arrest. Just trying to scare folks into calling them back. Don't fall for it!!!

Received call and the prerecorded message said he was Officer Scott with IRS and government needs to rectify immediately. Didn’t say what for or say my name. Not calling back and blocking the number.
