I had a problem with Amazon not recognizing my password and used their "contact" link to send a short e-mail requesting an immediate call back from their Customer Service Dept. This was the number that Amazon returned my call from. The rpe proceeded to reset my password. Problem resolved!
This is weird!! I was going to block it but ???I rec'd an order from A today and one item was the wrong size - incorrectly marked on the barcode label. I was online reporting this error and rec'd three calls from this # in three minutes or less. One of the calls went to vm but, when i listened to it, all there was was background chatter - no message. It may be a real Amazon number but it's still creepy!!
This is Amazon. They answered the phone properly when I called back. They were calling me regarding a package that the post office delivered to the wrong address. I had great customer service from them with this issue.
This number called after I hung up on Amazon Customer Service because the wait was too long and I had figured out the answer. The woman on the line immediately asked to verify my information from Amazon, I told her I already found what I needed, she replied, "No, I still need to verify your information." I told her she didn't and she kept repeating herself. After the 3rd time and still protesting no, I told her I felt uncomfortable, and I do not need help and hung up. A few seconds later she called back asking for my information AGAIN so she could transfer me. I told her again, no, this sounds like a scam, and now I am actually scared. She said, "No, you are not scared, just give me your information so I can transfer you". I then yelled at her to "Stop, stop, stop, I do not want you to call anymore, I do not need help, and I do not want anything from you, I am scared, BYE!". She then called AGAIN, insisting I give her information to transfer. I hung up, and blocked the number. I literally told this woman I was scared, needed no help, and did not want to be connected anywhere. Scam or for real, if it was Amazon then it was the most unprofessional service I ever had and if it was a scam...then they scared the heck out of me and must have intercepted my number from when I called.

I live in Michigan, got a call and text from this number saying to shelter in place. Said there is an active incident and don’t answer doors unless it’s law enforcement officer. Said we’d receive another message when issue resolved.

From the QUITLINE - can be any state - PA for me - I followed their program to quit smoking and this was a follow up survey - NOT SPAM - The service was helpful and the survey harmless.
Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
