I also am getting calls from this number. I went to the website called their customer service line and told them I was recieving many call a day from a number belonging to them. I ask them to remove me from the phone list and they say they would take care of it. Now the test is will they? If it works the number I called is 800-211-5119.

I was a fool and joined Cheap Trips three years ago under the impression that I would get 4 free airline tickets to some "really exciting" places and be able to use them whenever I wanted. Those places were Florida, Mexico, and few others that didn't sound too bad. Supposedly the tickets weren't limited in any way, except on a few dates. I could simply choose the destination and dates and book through them. I asked a lot of questions and when I felt like it was ligit I joined. They are good at NOT telling you exactly how it works. When I got the info in the mail, the 4 free tickets were vouchers. In order to redeem the vouchers, you had to send a check or money order in the mail with the dates and destination you wanted to travel, with no guarantee that you would get the dates you requested and hope that someone on the other end didn't take advantage of you. There was NO way you could book it online or over the phone or any other way except through Cheap Trips and snail mail. You couldn't call customer service and say "Hey, I want to go to Florida on these dates, is it available?" I told customer service they were insane to think I would send payment and just wait to hear back. I threw the vouchers away and canceled that day but they STILL harass me! I don't know if anything has changed in three years but I will never deal with them again.

I used to be employed there. The reason they are calling you and may do so legally is that you or someone you know has put your phone number on an internet survey. In the fine print of that surveys agreement, you are giving your consent to be contacted. In short, dont give out your number on the internet doofus!
