This number started calling me yesterday; disconnects when my answer machine comes on. They've called four times so far. I am on the DNC list also.

I reported this company to the DO NOT CALL site, hopefully it will do some good. I am tired of hearing clicks when I answer. Never a person, I can't even tell the criminals to quit calling. They are stealing the phone line service I pay for, and I object !

Called our number on 11/9 at 5:52 EST. When call was answered, there was no one on the other end.Call came from 1-208-327-1751.Caller ID says 'Sturner Klien'.We have been on FTC's 'Do Not Call' list since it was first put in place.Am forwarding complaint about Sturner/Klien to FTC. With who, for what? Why are you so special that you can't get a phone call. Get a life.

A few things to think about: 1) What you say is true if you have the time, patience, and disposition with others who are purposefully trying to annoy you. 2) You state that the "peons...have no control over anything...why take it out on them?" This is a false statement. a) They CHOSE to work there, knowing exactly what they ARE DOING.b) They CHOOSE to continue to work there, even after they realize the reality of how a MAJORITY of people feel about telemarketing (in any form, even for a survey)c) If I CHOOSE to walk into a store, market, etc...all workers there have the absolute right to try and sell me anything they want. I CHOSE to go there.d) If someone comes to MY door trying to sell me something, I have a CHOICE to let them in or not (or ignore them completely). I also have a right to tell them EXACTLY how I feel about them trying to sell me something on MY porch, driveway, yard, etc. because they are CHOOSING to make the attempt on MY property, at MY TIME and EXPENSE.e) When someone calls my phone, assuming I don't have caller ID or an answering machine (even today, not everyone does), I have no way of knowing the validity of the caller (work, friends, family) unless I pick up the phone. In other words, I HAVEN'T INVITED THEM IN, they have BARGED their way in. In doing so, I have every right to say anything I wish to them, at THEIR EXPENSE. I truly believe if enough people felt as I and reacted how I usually do, more people would CHOOSE NOT to work at these horrible annoyances to daily life. Just my thoughts.
