we've gotten the "small dog" survey about a dozen times over the last week. what a horrible nuisance! robocalls should ber outlawed!

getting calls from this number every day for about a week. caller ID shows P3EOPLE RSPNZ, who are these people? i am on DO NOT CALL list.

I got one call at the office yesterday and last night I got one on my home phone...lucky me. I'm filling out the FCC form and would encourage everyone else to do likewise.

We have received calls from this number multiple times today (supposedly a survey on whether we own a small dog). They'd get more 'yes' responses if they asked if we are worried about the economy! Better policy is to avoid using 'yes' when talking with anyone you do not know (either hang up - or if you are too polite to do that say 'that is correct', repeat back their question as your answer (example - "Do you own a refrigerator? respond with "I do own a refrigerator" rather than 'yes' - drives the survey people crazy!!!).

I got the call today 8/25, and yesterday. I am in Louisiana as well.

I also received the now infamous dog call. Answering any question on the phone is a bad idea, it gets you put onto a list of people who answer questions on the phone, and you are certain to get more calls. Coming back with a cute little remark about your big dog that will tear them up will also get you put on a list of people who respond to telephone calls. Just hang up on them. The only way we can put them out of business, or make their business more expensive is if a large number of us just hang up or screen the call in the first place.

Got a call from this number. Showed up as "P3OPL3 R3SPONZ" on our CallerID. Disembodied voice said "Survey 2010. Do you own a small dog?" I didn't respond and it hung up. I called the number back and it immediately went to voicemail. Said the mailbox was full. Glad I checked this site for answers!

Something that just came to mind about this... earlier this evening, a shady-looking gentleman came to my door trying to sell magazine subscriptions on behalf of "the inner city." I live in a suburb in the Midwest. No real inner city to speak of. Naturally, our dog came to the door first. Do you think it's related?

Recieved a call twice- do not have caller ID- but the first time, when I recognized the robotic tone as a machine, I hung up- hearing the bit about the dog as I did so. Second time, curious, I listened as it intoned "This is survey 2278. So you own a small dog?" After a pause, I answered with a hesitant no... the machine replied "This has been survey 2278. Paid for by: Zero- 2278." Then hung up. Seems very creepy to be honest. I feel as if they are fishing for some other info via my phone line? Does anyone have any debunk info on this?
