I JUST GOT ONE OF THESE CALLS TOO...SHE ASKED..."HI, DID YOU PRESS ONE TO LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATES?" AND I SAID...."I DID PRESS ONE...AND....I WANT YOU TO GO F'YOURSELF" COURSE...I USED "F" TO IT'S FULL EXTENT ! ! ! LOVE THESE CALLS...CAUSE I CAN DO THAT. I'VE ALSO ASKED THEM..."CAN YOU GIVE ME MY PERSONAL INFO?" AND THEN YOU HEAR A BUNCH OF TYPING AND THEN.....CLICK...HANG UP. SO...YES....IT IS A SCAM...TELL THEM TO F'OFF AND DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT IT ! ! !

I get these calls every day!!! Yesterday I pressed 1, I asked the girl a bunch of questions made her spend maybe 10-15 min of her time then at the end when they wanted more information, I told her all of my cards are at 0% intrest already! LOL She got so mad at me and yelled at me for waisting her time, told her that is what they are doing to me each time they call and to take me off the list or I will continue to F with them and waist there time. BTW I have also registered for the National Do Not Call list!

They call me using different phone numbers. I believe it is a scam to get credit card information. The recording says they want to lower credit card information. They call my cell phone number. I always press one to tell them I don't own a credit card or I just say stop calling me. None of that does any good. They called from CA this time. I would love to know where they got the cell phone numbers from. I know they probably bought them from a list. I am sick of them calling and I don't think a person can do anything about it.

Same group of thieves everyone else is complaining about. They need to be stopped, and we can do it if EVERYONE reports them to the FCC & FTC. Sure, that'll take an hour to fill out the paperwork, but would you rather them keep calling you for the rest of your life?

I get calls frrom these people everyday. My husband and I are elderly. It is so hard for my husband to get out of a chair and answer the telephone. He has to set and rock back and forth before he can even stand up and by the time he does they have hung up or it goes into the answering machine and they hang up. I pray every day they will just stop calling our number. If that was the only number that called i would feel lucky, but it isn't we have received as many as 6 or 7 different numbers in one day. I am sick of these idiots calling. I wish somebody somewhere could help us. We are on the governments DO NOT CALL LIST but haven't received any help from them either. If you know there is anything else I can do PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE advise me. Thank you.

SarahM......thats a GREAT idea....I love it. I may have to do that the next time....But most times, when I've gotten these calls before....they've come from FL or AR...or some other state. Anyways....i've also asked them....."Can you tell me my name?" or "any of my personal info?" and then....CLICK.

They don't actually have your cell phone number. The use an automated dialer that cycles through all numbers in an exchange one after the other. They have no idea who you actually are unless you push 1 to speak to them then maybe your caller id information shows up on their computer screen. The best thing to do is not answer calls with invalid Caller ID. If the call is important they will leave a message on your answering machine.

Good one, Sarah! I did the same last week (wasnt busy at the time). Spent 15 minutes baiting some guy trying to learn more about this scam operation. Today's call came on this new number out of Stockton. Would love to know what equipment theyre using to spoof the phone companies and feds. About a year ago, one call originated from Daytona Beach, Florida... according to the DJ overheard on the callers radio.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone today but did not answer it. No VM left. I am glad I can research phone numbers and get this kind of information so I can avoid these callers.

They have been calling me several time a week for about 2.5 years. Always between 9 and 11 in the morning. I am a member of the do not call registry. I do not own a card. They were calling me even when i was a minor.
