Update since my last entry: have received two more calls, the last at 9:55 PM!! So glad I blocked this number from the beginning and my phone no longer rings since it is blocked!!!
Scarborough rec is what came up on my caller id. They said that do not fall under do not call guidelines. I blocked.
These people have been calling us for weeks. We have told them to stop and told them that we are on the Do Not Call list. Their reply is that it doesn't apply to them. I am fed up with this. I don't care if they are "selling something" or not, they do not have the right to harass us.
I got this call after 8PM. I do not answer unknown numbers anyways and it did not leave a voicemail message so whatever. DO NOT CALL LIST is POINTLESS!
They call everyday. does not matter what time it is early or midnight. ( I think their autodialer time is messed up). I ignoire. If phone bugs block and use special ring or unplug it at night.
No, the only thing pointless here is your POST. The DNC is NOT a call blocker and scammers AREN'T going to follow the laws!
Not only what TRS said, but the DNC does not apply to most survey's! The DNC only applies to sales and/or service telemarketers. The only time it does is if the survey tries to sell something (sales and/or services) at the end of the survey.
Call the Scarborough Research 800# and ask to have your phone number removed from their call listings.1-800-753-6043I received this number from a Scarb. Resr. caller that I was very direct with about not being called further. He explained that he was not allowed to access the data files but that calling this number, I could have my number removed.When I called, I got an immediate pick-up, I explained I wanted to be taken off the call list, the associate asked for my phone number, nothing more, and explained that my number would be removed within 72 hours. Here's hoping this works, and for the long run.

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.
called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
