Do you have a credit card with Credit One? That is who this number is for. If you are late on a payment they will call you multiple times an hour until you make a payment. It's the actual credit card Credit One's collections department who is calling you, not a debt collector.
I do not know the person they call for twice a day or any of his relatives listed on PeopleFinder.I tell them everyday I do not now nor have I ever known demorris butler in Atlanta.
The best way to handle them is to set the number up as a contact call PITA(Pain in the ***). Set the contact to go directly to voice mail. Your phone will not ring, and you document the harrassment for a suit with to retrieve monetary damages under the fair credit collection act. If they switch numbers, add the new number to the contact and continue to ejnjoy the peace and quiet.
Hi,Yes, they can call that many times. They are a credit card company but they don't call to sell credit cards. They call because they believe you are late on a payment. A credit card company won't call you multiple times a day to try to sell you a card. If you want them to stop calling you, send them a certified letter and they must stop.
Just got a call from these jokers (Tuesday). Went online to check the due date...yeah, its THURSDAY. So, to recap for the benefit of the C@*&knocker above, its not that I have bad credit (I don't, I just have a [***] ton of student loan debt, on account of LAW SCHOOL) and its not that I'm late with my payment(I'm not). Its that they're a bunch of dicks, kind of like you, which is why, I guess, you're offended by criticism of them.
How did u block it from your cell?
It's not a scam. Its a credit card company called Credit One. They are calling because they believe that you are late on a payment. They can call as many times as the want to. If you want them to stop you either have to make a payment or send them a certified letter telling them they can't call you. If you have never had a card with them then you will probably want to find out why they are calling you. They are not a telemarketer and they don't sell cards over the phone. They only call when a payment is late.
You should call yourself [***], [***]!!
I have only had this phone number for 3 days and I knew it was a scam call. I didn't answer, but I sure am happy to have a phone that blocks these calls. Caller ID showed up as San Antonio, TX
The people that are calling you is Credit One credit card company. They call when they believe you are late on a payment.
