Credit One Debt Collector. They call constantly. I don't even have a Credit One Credit Card. They said you will be arrested tomorrow if I don't give them my debit card number to pay the balance. They said they have called the cops. That is true. In 16 states they can arrest you if you don't pay a debt and do not show up on your court date when sued, as that was some law passed recently and quietly by the bank lobbyists and the government by the republicans protecting big business. Check the public court records online by county where you have lived and are living now, and had debt to see if a lawsuit has been filed against you. Check every 2 weeks. What the big banks, credit cards do is sewer serve, another words lie and say you were served by a process server who sign and lie that they served you because they are paid double for lying, and not serve you so you don't show up at court, then the court can have you arrested. If you do not show up at court and say it is not your debt as the credit cards usually have lost your signed contract when you signed up for the credit card so if the CC cannot show the court your signature then you do not owe the debt, as they must show the signed contract by law to the court to win.Only sign up for Credit Cards by mail, never online. As the CC usually loose the paperwork with your written signed signature on paper, but they are unlikely to loose it if you sign up for a CC online, so ask them to mail you a CC application by mail only anytime you sign up for a CC, as you never know, in the future you may loose your job or business and not be able to pay your debt. In 16 states they can arrest you for not showing up on the court date for your debt case for credit cards, medical bills, etc. Search online for list of 16 states where you can be arrested for not paying your debt.File a complaint against Credit One at ComplaintsBoard, Rip Off Report, etc. to help warn others to avoid signing up with them.
Keeps on calling for no apparent reason! Sounds like a boiler room operation with the delay in answering.I don't give my name and the male forgin job doesn't know any better any way.
First time Credit One has called me using this number. I have no business with them yet they'll call for a week or two at least once every day then quit for a week or two. Sometimes the phone will ring once or twice then quit. Sometimes they'll let it go to voice mail and leave no message. Each cycle they'll use a different number. I don't answer and the ID usually says it's from Texas.
I totally agree with u, it is an epidemIc of job and wage reduction or loss. Those Indian [***] are brave from across the globe. Peace my brother.
Everyone needs to read the law & rules on collectors, they can call you even thou you tell them not to call, or even put them one the do not call list, in your agreement with your creditore, they may call because you waive the do not call by singing your contract with your creditors. the rule changed you must tell them in writing, so send a certified letter so they must sige for besure to include the cert number on your letter of notice. Eave a great day
Aw dickiema, you work for credit1. Its shameful the way you use an information site to call people names like stupid or irresponsable. in these days, with business up & down & cutting back. I got bad credit, no account with this org. & get calls. Due 2 economy, my hectic job doesn't exist & had to settle for 70% reduction in pay. Now credit 1 calls me. Screw them. Screw you. 'Not grown up' u say. This immature stupid irresponsable deadbeat will rip dickiema's head off if ever we meet in person. To everyone else, my appologies, have a better day.
