That number called my cell today but disconnected after one ring. I wouldn't have picked it up anyway (despite wanted to yell at him) as I know that some of these scammers are less interested in selling you something than the fact that you ANSWERED! These are robo-dialers and answering the call shows that yours is a good number and they can sell a list of known good #s to other scammers, making the problem worse.
I've been getting calls, from a total of four separate numbers that say the samething about lower rates on my credit or debit card. I don't even own a card of any kind, nor any checks. I just carry cash, so I know that this is false and they are trying to steal your information. I can't lower rates on a card that doesn't exist!!!
Caller left message for lowering interest rates I don't have a credit card. These calls fill up my mailbox. I get on average 6 a day.
"People" like you tie up the line and prevent legitimate calls from coming through. You under estimate how annoying it is to receive phone calls from [***] like you on the one day each week designated as a day of rest. Prison for all telemarketers.
had a call from this number as well asking me something about my chase credit card... I don't have no acc. on chase when I told the guy what are you talking about i don't even have chase cards, he started to do an annoying sound and hanged up the phone....
Received a call, decided to press 1 (as past 7 attempts to block/remove didn't work). Rep came on, I asked to be removed from this scam list... Verbatim, (not kidding here) he stated "if you think this is a scam I will not remove you from our list for the rest of your life." I stated the number was previously reported and after 2 mins of conversation he finally "removed" me. I'll post back when I get the next call... Just be aware selecting the automated option to remove your number does in fact NOT work!
You are so full of chit, Matty....go spend some of those food stamps we work so hard for you to have.
Received a call on my cell phone, but no message was left. If this is in regards to a credit card, then it is clearly a scam because I don't have a credit card and I have never had one or applied for one.
Got the call a few mins ago, And have been getting them like clockwork for about the last 2 months, so the DNC list wont block them if they are using a robocaller just dialing numbers based on NPANXX.Same as the other info, Foreign individual, with horrible English skills.Asked what company he is calling about and he said All Credit Card Companies.Advised him I didn't have any cards and he shouted WHY DID YOU PRESS 1 THEN!I told him I didn't Press 1 I just waited for the message to finish because there wasn't a option to reach trough the phone to strangle him. I hope I wasn't too harsh
