Has anyone recently submitted a sweepstakes entry to publishers clearing house? I suspect this is where these scam calls are coming from. I wonder if the entry info is being sold or hacked. Just curious if there is a common link to these calls.

Thanks for posting.The phone companies have the power to stop these calls, but they won't because they make money from them as well as the scammers.These calls will never stop until we come down on the phone companies and make it unprofitable for them.Never call these numbers back, or "opt out". All it does is tell their robo dialer that there's a live person at the number.If you have a fax machine let it answer and scream in their ear. Plus it keeps their line busy for a bit longer.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
