These are the rudest people. They are a credit card processor and they try and make you feel like you are really stupid and that you don't know what equipment you need!!! Then when you tell them you are not interested, the gal Jess actually had the guts to say I am not trying to sell you anything, but they want to set up an appt. for their rep., and then they start asking questions about the business and when I asked why they needed to know my business hours, Then she has the guts to tell me well most salons are open to the public and that I was very rude and hung up. Yet another credit card company that can't take no for an answer.
I meet them at a local coffee shop or multi tenant building. I don't mind grabbing lunch and eating there. Great time away from the office, I listen to there spheil, then I ask for an ID and take there pic, and if they refuse, I offer to detain them while we wait for the police for either harassing me, or for using a fake phone number. Fake phone number. illegal. Calling after I've said no harassment (I bring the recorded calls) I once had one of these companies call me back and say I would have removed you from the system. . . don't waste our reps time... um.... Hello. Should I play the recording?
These flipping oatmeal for brains tried to interrupt me while teaching this morning. Not recognizing the number and knowing it wasn't family or friends calling me during my work schedule, I let it go to voice mail, which of course they conveniently ignored and at least was kind enough to not leave a message. However, they are now on my spam list and thereby, via Alaskan terms, also the proud winner, should they call me on my off hours, of my scrambling what little brains they may indeed possess, with what is known up here as "a Seal gun"-an Alaskan seal/air gun-it is used to scare seals underwater (handheld from boat) off of fisherman's fishing area. It will not hurt their eardrums, it will pierce them. This, to me, seems like a fair exchange of direct and validated communication on my part: I am on the "DNC" list and I will, with delight, should they call again: shred their brains. Legal, direct....and effective.
Company called said they were Payment Systems, I asked if that was the name of the company, again told it was Payment systems, so I went to the URL payment systems and then the VERY rude guy told me the company wasn't actually called payment systems, so I asked for the sixth time what is the name of the company, he would not answer so I hung up. I m not going to waste my time with someone who wont even tell me who they are. He immediately called back and began yelling at me on the phone. I politely hung up on him again. LOL
the unidentified caller actually raised her voice at me when i politely declined her mastercard/visa rate analysis.i would love for unsolicited business calls to stop.
Rude people and they are calling up to 8 times a day. We have asked for the past 4 days that they stop calling. Each time they inform us that they will call as many times as they like.
They called me today. I politely told them that the business they were calling was out-of-business for over 5 years, and the phone company errantly reports my cell number as a forwarding number for the business. I have nothing to do with the business he was trying to call. They guy from (213) 542-2463 started screaming at me. I just hung up. What nerve!
