They've called twice now. They let the phone ring three times then they hang up. I searched this site up on google to see what it was. I'm glad I didn't answer!
They called around 6:00 PM EST. Asked if the country was on the right track or not 1-yes, 2-no, 3-unsure. Then started asking if I'd ever used an axe to chop wood, and then asked if I'd ever kissed a dog on the mouth? Survey??? I don't think so. Obviously, it costs these people resources to ask these questions...don't they have anything better to do?
Called at 6:25 pm. "Wireless Callin". I don't answer ANY call without a NAME - not even a business.
Called twice at about 8 p.m. Both times hangups. I am in the 903 area code, which is about 100 miles East/southeast of Dallas.
Call came in on 8/4/2007 at 7:41pm PDT. It was a computerized presidential preference poll for the Rassmussen polling organization and took about seven minutes to complete. Besides the typical demographic questions the "computer", for example, would take your least disliked candidate of the opposite party and various candidates of your party and ask which one you would vote for. Rasmussen does regular presidential polling and after years of wondering if these polling companies sample "real" people it appears this company does.
