i just got two calls from that number...and i heard a voice it was kinda like static and robotic voice

I received a call from 214-586-0999 at 12:53pm. I do not know anyone who uses Skype, so I'm assuming it was either the wrong number or someone pulling a scam.

This is a skype number. I know that for a fact because when i downloaded myspace IM it had a free call with skype, so i called my cell to see if it really worked and that is the number that i got on my caller ID. Everyone got international calls right? so did I, and heres my best guess. Someone first called you on skype, which is an internet based phone company. If they called you on skype then they entered your number on a computer. Computers can store information at an amazing speed, so id guess that skype probably had your number store away, and that someone later called your phone from international. The text message part, if im right you can send SMS messages on skype, I.E. messages typed by a computer and sent to a cellular device. Also, 214 is a texas area code, and skypes headquarters is in Dallas i do belive

i got the similar call from the same number said i was to get a refund from the gov't just needed my acct numbers yeah right

just called my cell....a recorded message for low interest rates.

It was a recording that was offering me carpet cleaning. It said if I wanted it I should press 1, if I didn't I should press 8. This is not the first time I have gotten a call from a carpet cleaning company, but it's the first time the Caller ID said "International." Each time I get this call I hit the number they say if you want the calls discontinued. But I keep getting them.

I missed a called from this number which left no message. I called back but couldn't reach anyone but music...

I received a call from this number today - when I called it back, a recording said "Please wait while I connect your call" and then some wierd cosmic-like music played for awhile before I finally hung up. Wierd.

The number was on my mnachine...214-586-0999...with a notation International. I don't use SKYPE. Is this something that will bring a charge to the phone bill?

Just received a call from this number - whoever called spoke very poor English! Said she was with Phoenix ??? (Could not understand last part of name) Told her there was $500 fine associated with the "Do not Call" program (oh well, maybe right or wrong, WHATEVER), then for some reason she hung up on me. My caller ID showed the number in question. When I called it back, I got this recording saying my phone number, then the rather loud music. After several minutes I gave up and came here to Google the number. That led me here. See if I get another call, if so, I will record the message. Just have to wait and see what happens. Incidentally, "214" is now the area code for most of the cities in and around Dallas. Dallas proper has a new AC.
