I have Skype call out service. Usually when I call someone it leaves the caller ID 1234567890. This time I called my home phone from my skype call out service and it left this number (2145860999). I believe as others have stated, it is some kind of routing number for out of country calls as well as Skype and other rerouted calls. I would call your local phone service provider and see if you can get this number blocked. If you are receiving the calls on a cell phone, save the number with a silent ring tone.

I received a call from 214-586-0999 today, I let it go into my answering machine but the caller disconnected. I have also received numerous calls from the carpet cleaning company - strangely it comes through on caller ID as a Directory Assistance call. I have also received many UNKNOWN NAME/UNKNOWN NUMBER. Even though I have blocked anonymous calls my phone company tells me these numbers are probably coming from overseas. All in all these calls are annoying, and timeconsuming.

Those people have called my cell phone several times now. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer, but it sure is annoying since I'm on the do-not-call list. Seems that list isn't scaring the telemarketers any more at all. Last time I accidentally answered a telemarketer and pointed out that I'm on the do-not-call list, the answer was "o, I wasn't aware of that". Well -- duh -- isn't it their job to be aware of it?

A call came to me from this number from my "boyfriend" and when I went to call it back the number is out of service.Scam????

I got the call from 214-586-0999 today. It said it was an International Jail Facility, collect call, press 1 to accept, 5 for more info. Of course, I hung up and called all of my kids to make sure they were still in the country and not roughed up in some other one.

I just received a call from the number in question and it was a guy with a heavy Indian accent saying he was with T-Mobile. I told him I was on the "Do-Not-Call" list and he said okay and sorry and hung up. Since there were loud voices in the background I was a bit suspicious and called the number back. As several have stated, there was techno music playing but I let it play for quite some time and he finally answered. He was obviously at a party or something. I asked him his name and he told me several different names and then finally told me I had the "Wrong mother F**king line" as he was laughing and so were several others in the background. So obviously, this is a very childish person who gets off on making crank calls!

Kept getting a call from this number 214-586-0999. No one ever answers - but there is no hang up either.

I received a call from a Bob Depathy saying he represent Corporate Capital Access. I couln not find any listing or info with the Florida, ATT. Gen, BBB, or any other state regulatory agency. This Corp. Cap. Acc, changed its name from Skyytek Recruitment in June of 08. Mr DePathy is soliciting info to help small business people obtain loans with using or burdening their personal credit. What he says vs what his paperwork states are far apart. I personnally, think it a fraud in the making...
