mine came over my call wave on my computer. it says it's from dallas, but i won't call it back....iv'e read it's from mexico, but it's a 214 area code......thanks to all for the info........it may be some number that may charge me a few hundred bucks if i return the call......thanks.....

The woman started emailing me but as a man Wesley_Woodgate1966@yahoo.com He is threatening me for 25K I'm in the process of notifying local authorities tho I'm sure nothing can be done. I did a Goggle search on the name this "guy" gave me to wire the money to and it pulled up her webpage Benito Wuver is the name in Ghanda

Called and hung up. I called back. Called again and gave me scam about wanting to drop off a package from FedEX. Gave me phony company, Global Payout Services and a phone number to call in 876 area code which is Caribbean. I called it to check legitimacy and have now since learned what a mistake that was.

Annette, I called my sister today long distance, here in the states. I used my portable phone. My telephone number showed up as214-586-0009 and as an international call! Well of course that's not my telephone number!. I called that number, and I got this music, disco like, and a recording sounded saying( in a female voice) my call is being connected. I waited for about 5 mins. Then hung up. I don't know what I'm going to do about this, but I will look into this. Also we are getting alot of "out of area calls" afte 2 rings they hang up.i am going to call the phone company first and register an official complaint against this number!

I got a phone call at my parents address. They asked for me and my mom informed them I did not live there. That number and all my numbes are on the DO NOT CALL List.

I gota call from 214 586 0999.The message in my voice mail had a lot of static and when I returned the call nobody answered.

got a call again, from this phone number today. They called yesterday and I hung up on the guy. Today a guy named Mike Fairbanks left a message from some company (said so fast impossible to decipher) telling me I won 5 million dollars, and that I need to call 876 # to claim my prize so package can be delivered. Not calling back - will ignore and put # on do-not-call list. Definitely a scam.

I have recieved 2 calls from an 214 number.They said I had won 4.0 Million dollars, and she was speaking in a Spanish Voice, Wierd :)

Receive calls with no one on the other end. Called number back with no response.

Missed call 4/23 and 4/24 from the #214-586-0999. Tried to call it back today and it was music in the background with a males voice speaking in Spanish saying something along the lines of "stupid, stupid person" I don't know Spanish that well, but heard that. I hung up after that and don't know what else it says on there. All of my calls are local so I don't think that this is some international call line transfer.. Any suggestions on how to get it to stop calling me?
