Ah the skype info above clarifies things, my wife just tried to call me using skype and this number came up. First time but she was having trouble with skype (which is awesome, beats paying those dirtbags over at AT&T stupid sums of money)

hey I got the call this morning at 8.18AM from same number. but I was sleeping . So in Noon I tried that number from my office but I got auto message wait while I connect but no response.

Received 3 calls from this number this morning. Didn't answer and a message was left 2 times, not the third. It was almost impossible to make out what the caller was saying although I was able to catch him saying he was from Nigeria and would call later. I have no friends or family out of the country at this time so I have a hunch that this is part of some scam or another.

got a call from 214-586-0999...I was trying to buy a car from craiglist website. I sent the sellar an email showing interest in the car and asked them to call me. He told me the deal was actually going through ebay and I got an email confirmation to purchase the car with all the payments details. I could not verify any info on the email I recieved. when the seller called me, it was a man with an accent, there was an echo in the background with music and I could hardly hear him. Anyway, the email address he was using is shermanmoss21@inbox.com. this is a scam.. Avoid any contact from this person....

Received 3 calls from this number early this morning. Answered two and when no one was on the other end didn't answer the third. Left no voice mail. Tried reverse lookup but no listing. Really annoying to be awakened with this.

recived call from this number--called it and prompt indicated "please wait why i connect your call " then electronic music began to play, so i hung up!

No, its a Skype phone number. You see when someone signs up for Skype In service they're given the ability to give that Skype In phone number to friends and family so they can get calls into their Skype service. That Skype In number is MUCH CHEAPER than regular phone service so people purchase it to save money. What happens is the phone number they were given (under the Skype In service) shows up at the other end as some other totally different number. For example it may show up at 214-586-0999, when in reality the Skype In buyer purchased a totally different number. Don't know how all it works beyond that (ex. if you call it and someone gets at that recorded message, "Please hold while I connet you..."), but it's not a trick or harassment or anything. It's just someone using their Skype phone and they may have just misdialed your number.

got a call from 214-586-0999 saying she was form L V Pharmacy. Telling me about a good deal to refill my prescriptions 40% off. Or any other non-prescribed meds. I asked her how she got my number she said I had recently purshcased medication from their pharmacy. The only pharmacy I used in the last 30 days was CVS and I'm sure the are not affiliated with these clowns.

They called me last night and no one internationally was calling me...it may have been skype but i doubt it...my ex has skype and he may have been trying to call me but i doubt that. I called it back and it played crazy techno stuff.
