THIS IS TRUNKING PHONE NUMBER THAT IS USED BY MULTIPLE CARRIERS. CALLS MADE FROM SKYPE OFTEN APPEAR WITH THIS CALLER IF.
The caller id shows 214-586-0999 when I call back a automated voice informs your call is being connected
this number 214-586-0999 was shown on my cell and later I figured out that my dad tried to call me via Skype and he was in Taiwan.
I got the same several days ago but it was my boyfriend calling me and it is an international call. All I say is screen those calls.
MY EXPERIENCE WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!Okay, so I called my friend Barbie up and she didn't pick up her phone. So about a minute later I get a phone call back, and the Caller ID said International with the phone number 1-214-586-0999. I picked up and it was actually my friend Barbie! I asked her why she was calling from a weird number, and she had no clue what I was talking about. So we hung up, and she called me again... well, the same caller ID showed up. I google'd the number, and couldnt find much but little blog posts...so i called it. And it was some hot techno music. Everytime my friend calls me now, it says that number and International...but if i call her real cell number... she picks up... its sooo weird!!! and before she would call..her number sometimess would show up, but mostly said unknown! really weird!
I am un New York.I got calls 3 times from 214-586-0999, but no response from other side. As i was expecting a call from my wife from India, i tried calling her. She said she tried to call me all 3 times, and she could hear me. But i was unable to hear any thing. So, its entirely not a scam.Its for the telecom technologists to explain.
This is one of the numbers skype uses for outgoing calls. So there are millions of potential callers.
This number 214-586-0999 is bugging me... I see number of missed calls from that number.. and when I called them, an IVRS said ' please wait while you are transferred' and I was never connected to anyone.. Is someone trying to sneak into the network ?... should we inform police ??

Sounds like a potential call center scam.
Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
Called today and left no message. No caller ID, so I did not pick up the call.
