paying a debt is one thing being harassed and overcharged is another. person a owes company b 3000. then person a owes company b 3000. period. not company b writes it off as a loss gaining the loss back in a tax write off, then slime company c picks up written off debt for maybe the sum of 100 then sues, harass' person a to pay 3000 + 2000 more in fees to slime company c for having to trouble themselves by suing person a. person a shouldn't have to pay slime co c to sue them that is like paying the Be-header to give you the beheading. People do not not want pay they just do not like being screwed over by rats making riches off the poor. Wheres robin hood when you need him LOL.

They are a law firm and they will take you to court eventually. I setled with this right before trial. They work primarily for Capital One who is aggressive in debt collection. I recommend you work out something and do not ignore the letters and calls from them. They are not bottom feeders.

I'm really confused - I got a call from this number today (I never pick up ones I don't know, they left me no voice message) and a few months ago I was getting a lot of calls from a midwest number that seemed shady but was reported by some folks here to be another debt collector.I have absolutely no debts. None of these firms should be calling me. The only thing I can think of is the clowns at my ophthalmologists did what they do best: cashed the check I gave them the day of my appt (last summer) and entered it incorrectly in their own billing system. They're notorious for this locally, and after the hundreds of people complaining over the years, they still can't straighten out their system... I have a good hunch it's them sending my number to these goon firms, (if they're even legit....) But the doc's been paid in full every time I visit. We even requested a separate receipt from their off-grounds billing department this last time and have that as proof. Check cashed. LAST YEAR, at that. I'm finding a new ophthalmologist.

I have been getting and receiving phone calls for months now they refused to remove my phone number they don't know who I am or why they are calling me when the person calls also they do when I answer is hang up. most, worst practices I've ever experienced

yes they did it to me and re-filled even though I pay every month because I was late. But they are working with us better now.

Lady says she is Martha attempting to collect a debt from some guy. She gives 8772042066 as the number to use to remove my number from their list. I have had this number since 2001. Either she mis-dialed or this is not a legitimate effort to collect a debt.
