Just don't answer the phone or call your phone company and see if they block out those numbers.if they can't get a hold of you that's as far as they are getting.don't let these people scare you they can't take your birthday away.I unfortunately owe money for an accident and due to the accideent I cannot work and haven't been for 9 months.so I cannot pay them a dime and most likely they paid 100 dollars for my 10000 dollar debt. If you paid them off all at once they will drop debt by half or even more.you just can't let these people get over you.ignore them don't let them ruin your day we got enough problems as it is.

you guys are idiots. the ARE a law firm, not a collection agency. they are garnishing me for 8000 I owed on a car. work things out woth them.
got a call from them a few days ago- looked them up on the web- they are a law firm. beware
I spoke with my lawyer last night and she said they are a law firm but they are hired to collect debt. They do get paid a commission for anything they collect from you even when the company has already charged off the debt. If you send them a certified letter telling them to stop contacting you they have to comply or it's a $1000.00 fine for everytime they call you after you've received confirmation that your letter was received. Keep a log. You can do this for all debt collectors or credit card companies harassing you for payment. Oh and by they when they called me today it came up on my caller ID as Barb..which is my sister's name but I'm glad I looked at the number first and knew it wasn't her calling.
Any law firm is out for one thing...they are to make money by charging a retainer fee or getting paid on a contingency that money will come in and the law firm will get their part. People and companies use law firms because of them being knowledgeable of federal and state laws so that they can be used to get the money that is owed to the people or companies that hire them. When someone enters into an agreement (credit card, loan, etc.) they sign or confirm that they agree to the repayment terms no matter what. When something changes that the money cannot be paid back, then it's up to the person to explain it to the creditor who they have the agreement with.If the person does not work out something with the company, then they have the option of going to a law firm to get the money for them. It's the same as if a person borrowed money from a family member or friend. What would an individual do if their family member or friend borrowed a large amount of money and promised to pay it back only to not up hold their end of the agreement? How much money is "o.k." to not get paid back?
