Unauthorized call

Calls early AM hours. No message. Blocked

Called on Sunday afternoon. I was expecting a call, so quickly got up to answer. Then I saw it was not the caller I was expecting, so did not answer. It makes me VERY angry to get up from whatever I was doing only to see an unknown/unwelcome caller is calling!! Wish these calls could be stopped.

Have you heard of this new technology called a cordless telephone? You can carry it around with you and then you don't have to get up to see who is calling.

Called today. Didn't answer. It's Sunday. day of rest! Go home and quit bothering people.

Caller Id says united breast cancer they call every Sunday afternoon have done so for nearly one year I have never answered and they have never left a message

My phone rang only once, which is a ruse by scammers to hopefully get you to return the call. They don't need you to answer the call, because once you call back, they then see your number is active. The whole phone system is a mess and guess about the reason..... MONEY!!!! The issuers of the numbers make money, so there's no incentive for them to stop issuing the numbers. The scammers are making money, they aren't going to suddenly get a conscience, regardless of 89 year old Ms. Jones begging for them to return the money she lost to them. Severe penalties need to be enacted for issuers and scammers. It likely won't stop it them, but it will put a dent in it. VERY GOOD chance all of this is tied to mobsters in the U.S. and abroad.
