The problem is that they may be "Spoofing" the number to appear. Google "Spoofing" for more info that I can type.I have even gotten numbers that came from supposedly my own telephone. Had me thinking, is my future self calling to tell me something.

Twenty pages of complaints, lol. Add me to the list.

i received a call from this number 02/10/2016 at 3:18 pm . i just don't answer calls of ones i don't know . these foreigners are scamming usa people and we have got to let them know we are smarter than their are.

Called cell phone no message left now blocked

They called me very early this morning at 9:29 AM PST. I will call the cops.

It was the Microsoft Indian Tech scam - again! Was doing something else and had my headset on. Kept him on the phone for over twenty minutes.

Called my home phone (more than once today) and hung up, no message. Sales holes.

Just got the same call. Heavily accented Indian man 'Mac' and he wanted to fix my computer because it was sending lots of data and only they could fix it remotely for me. Total scam and when I said I will take it to my own engineer, he said it can't be done by anyone but them. Don't do it.

Received a call this evening on my home phone. Caller ID indicated "CellPhone OH". Individual with an Indian accent indicated he was from Microsoft and needed to fix my computer. Since this is not my first call of this type, I told him this was a BS call, they there was nothing that needed fixing on my computer, they were not going to be allowed to dial in and if I continue to get these calls, I was getting an attorney and suing their a$$. It was at this point I hung up.These people are spoofing names and numbers over VOIP. Now to go in and set this number up on the reject list for my phone.

Heavy Indian or Pakistani accent, claiming to be from the Windows Repair Dept. I told him my cousin in Pakistan knows who he is, where he works, where he lives, and would be coming over with a hot poker to gauge out both his eyes & if he ever called my number again. He just started to laugh. So I told him after my cousin gauged out his eyes, he would disembowel him, and that made him laugh even harder. A scammer with a sense of humor! Anyway, after I hung up, I blocked the number. Much as I may enjoy it, it is really not my job to entertain thieves and scam artists.
