I received the same call when I answered the guy said he needed to fix something. As soon as I said I'll call Windows directly he hung up
These crooks might be calling from Nigeria. 234 is Nigerian country code, so they might be spoofing it as an area code in Ohio.
i got the call today Feb 20 2016. same as other comments, indian accent, said he got an error message from my computer. right away i know it's BullSh*t because Windowns/Microsoft would never call, and they don't even answer emails. so i asked who is he calling for and he couldn't answer. then i told him that i don't use windows, i have an Apple. he kept trying to tell me he can help and i said i don't need his help and hung up on him. Definitely they would try to get you to go to a website and unknowingly download some virus. just hang up on them.
Just got a call from these clowns again. Waited until third ring and answered in a weak voice, acted hard or hearing, asked the heavily accented male what 3 or 4 times. When he finished telling me that he was from computer support, I told him I was 93 years old and din't own a computer. He insisted that I had a computer. I told him again that I was 93 and lived in an assisted living facility and did not have a computer. He stammered for a minute, wished me a nice day and hung up.
Several calls today 2-22-16. Did not answer. Caller id showed 234-321-3432. Very annoying. Computer Scam.
This is my favorite thing to do with these guys. I half go along with it, half argue with them just to keep them on the phone, frustrated and from scamming other people.
Indian sounding accent saying he was from windows. When I told him I was on a DNC list he said he could make my phone and computer so they wouldn't work and then started swearing and saying he hoped I died.
DO NOT DO WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO! He is phising for your personal computer info!!!! The number comes up as OHIO CALL and the number. I have had same guy who can hardly speak English call several times and I have challenged him each time He wants you to go to your computer and do some things because your computer is emitting personal info. DO NOT DO ANY OF IT. Hang up.....I am reporting to donotcall.gov also

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
