I also received call from this number. But I didn't pick up. When i called back that no. was not available.

The National Do Not Call List does work, in an odd way: Legitimate businesses, marketers, surveys will not call you.You can be completely sure that any such call you do get is from a criminal organization or worse...

Spoofed phone number. They are just dropping the "1" and using numbers in sequence. Just got call from these ****. They're claiming to be with Microsoft and are calling about a purported refund due me. They wanted me to put this link into the URL (supportbillings.screenconnect.com). This is so they can steal your computer information and thereby access any information you may use to pay bills, banking, credit cards, etc. Do not enter the link into your URL and do not open any attachments. They may ever be infect it with ransomware. Microsoft will never call you about a refund.

They keep calling 14 -20 a day

I am having the exact same problem. I first heard of them from an ad on Howard Stern Satellite Radio. Do you know of any way to stop them?

We received a call from 234-567-8901 a few minutes ago. It appeared as Cardiac Dimens ----- on our Caller ID. Since I had just had some medical tests, I thought perhaps it might be a legitimate call. However, it was some gal saying there was a problem with our Windows computer. I gave the phone to my husband, who in no uncertain terms told the caller after she tried to get him to let her take control of his computer, that he read on the screen that "Some ----- was trying to scam him". She did not give up - before hanging up, he told her she had best call a good lawyer, as he was calling the police.

Just received a call from this phone # +234 56 789 1, the person told my husband that he was calling about his order for viagra, lol, which isn't something that he ordered. We knew it was a scam. We've been on the National Do Not Call list for years, and we continue to receive calls everyday from telemarketers, surveys, etc. I'm beginning to think that the National Do not call list is completely fake, it sure doesn't seem to work.

Caller claimed to be from Microsoft with a strong foreign accent. She said my computer ID was causing errors and they wanted me to enter things on my computer. When I asked her to tell me what my computer ID was she reeled off an impossibly long string of numbers and hyphens. I told her she was wrong, hung up, and reported the spoofed number to KNOW MOW ROW BOW.
