Sjohnson, obviously youve never worked for Srbi. Please tell me, when have we ever done a single survey asking for SS numbers? We had a military survey in which we'd confirm the last 4 digits, but there has never been a survey from SRBI asking for a social security number. Not ever! For those of you so worried about the department of health surveys, visit cdc.gov/brfss to learn more.

I have had repeated calls from this number. Can I sue??

I went to the website for Abt SRBI and there is a list of Presidents and V.P.'s. A 'Ryan Gerry' from ABT/SRBI called at 7:30 last night. I answered and after he introduced himself he hung up! No idea apart from above what he wanted. He is blocked now and reported to DNC folks.

Even if they are a charity or survey they have an obligation to stop calling you if you request removal from their list. They can still be fined DNC fines on every instance in which they called someone that asked to be taken off their list. Also, when a company claims to be a charity or survey, they are sometimes lying; many times they do not meet the specific criteria for being a charity, in which case they are still liable for the DNC call fines on every number they called.

How is it that it has been stated in several posts that the calls are randomized but you say that you have confirmed the last 4 digits of SS #'s. How does that work?

They called me in Oakland, California. I told them not to call again and that I do not survery over the phone- they need to use mail. They rudely responded that it is just a survery and it's anonymous. If they don't pay attention to "No, thank you", they need to ESFOAD. I didn't say that but asked them to not call again, because ( repeating a third time to them ) I do not survey over the phone. Florida?- the very idea!

They called me, and said they were doing a survey and wanted to know rather personal information about me.This is a scam.Don't give them any information.They wanted tax return information, SS #, and credit card information.They are identity thieves.
