Obviously you do not know what you are talking about. They do not just call people in Florida. I too received many calls from these idiots (and I do not believe that everything is random and that there is no way to remove a number - repeated calling at all hours is legally considered harassment - contact your local telephone company). However, with my phone service I can block individual numbers. Even AFTER their number is blocked and they get a recording telling them so, they continued to call for another 2 weeks.Part of the problem is that in these boiler rooms, people are ranked on the number of calls made, so they don't have an incentive to not call someone even though the person (who pays the phone bill) chooses not to accept their calls.Personally I block all anonymous calls and I have no problem blowing a loud whistle into the phone to telemarketers - especially the rude ones.

I am an employee of SRBI, and am here to clear up a few things. We are not a trustworthy company, they brainwashed me to help them mine data by cold calls. This data is worth gold, which is then sold as such. Unfortunately, i truly fell for their lies, but after 2 months in the FL office, i finally quit. I want everyone out there that this info. is sold. Anyone, and everyone will have this information. I highly recommend to not give out any information, especially your SS#. These people are cold, concise, cruel, money-hungry, dangerous, and out-right crooks. This person called my mother, who is 91-years-old and was asking for her Social Security number. Thankfully, my wise mom hung up as soon as they asked for her SS. She was terrified to pick up her phone until I answered the next time they called and basically used the most disgusting profanity and they NEVER CALLED AGAIN! You have to curse at these douches to make them stop calling!- I dialed that survey. Never, ever, EVER do we ask for your social security number or any other private information. Please don't spread lies.
