14 October 2014'missed call' message received. No message left. Did not phone back as number unknown - suspicious.
Just received a call via Viber (free call app) on my O2 mobile. I didn't answer and after doing a quick search, found this forum. Sketchy.
You can't ios 7 and ios 8 only has blocking capabilities in pretty sure they're not available for the 3GS
had a call from this number 20:59 hrs today, I said hello twice, no answer the line went dead..........?

Thanks for the info, but what happens if you accidently call the number but cancel before its answered ? Should I now expect more scam calls from others as while blocking the original number I accidently pressed return while trying to do so but it didn't get picked up??

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
