Call said: "It was urgent that I called as soon as possible, I would like to let you know how important and appreciated you are to me and others, for some reason I know you needed to hear this right now, thanks and have a great day, Bye." It was a male voice.I copied this from another post. I got the almost exact same message at 12:22 PM on Tuesday July 8, 2008. I live in the NASA/Clear Lake Area. I'm not a very religeous person, but have to say that this is really spooky. Severe problems with a family member. Suicide has occupied my thoughts for some time. I'm not close to actually doing it, but do think about it a lot. When I woke up this morning, this thought was about as strong as it's ever been.I've done several reverse look-up searches and they all say caller not known. I can't even find where area code 247 is. Should I start going to church???????

I was in the middle of an important phone call when this beeped in at 1:30 pm on 7-8-08. I don't like being bothered by stuff like this especially from unknown people. Has anyone tried to trace this phone number? It's a crock of crap IMO. I recently visited a relative in the hospital and had to give them all kinds of info just to get inside and I'm suspect of how much info is being sold to others for whatever all in the name of Homeland security. I'm also on the do not call list but calls like this don't fall under the same rules so they get through.

July 8 - the same message was left on my home phone (AT&T) at 12:30pm (also in Houston). Hard to distinguish if it is male or female voice, but it said "Hi! My apologies for the message but it was urgent that I called as soon as possible. I would like to let you know how important and appreciated you are to me and others. For some reason I know you needed to hear this right now. Thanks and have a great day." I did need to hear this today as a friend blew up at me yesterday for something I didn't do. I believe I'll take it as a good thing - a much needed gift.

It came at a time I needed to hear it too. Accept it as true from someone in your life - that you are important and appreciated.

Got the same call but do not have comcast phone service.

I just receive this call yesterday around 9:45 a.m. My father just learned that he has lung cancer. I believe in the power of prayer and believe that the Good Lord above is very much aware of my father and his family and for this I'm grateful!

Today I received a call from this number and how refreshing. I sure would never grip about this with the world being so upside down with hate crimes, etc. Love and kind words are what we need more of. Janet Houston, Texas PS This is the second time in a few months I have received such a message.

Just got a call from 247.478.6277 at 10:57 am. The voice was of a man, very pleasant and said the kindest things about someone really appreciates my kindness. This is the second time within a year that I have received such a call. I do not find it offensive and think we need more kind words in a world that seems out of control. Thanks to whoever is responsible.

Yup. Houston area, same deal. Since I'm a writer and blog every Friday (Writers Plot) I am going to write about this tomorrow!

I have Comcast--and the phone service as well as cable.
