I got this call about 5 minutes ago. I also live in the Houston area (Clear Lake). I'm studying for the bar right now and about to pull my hair out, so it was kind of nice to hear. But I'm very skeptical as well!

I got this call about 1:30 PM. Call said: "It was urgent that I called as soon as possible, I would like to let you know how important and appreciated you are to me and others, for some reason I know you needed to hear this right now, thanks and have a great day, Bye." It was a male voice. I am in Santa Fe, TX 30 miles south of Houston. And although there was no identity, I thought it was a call from a ministry. And it seemed to me with all the negative things in the media, and the floods in Iowa, fires in California, etc. that it was a very kind and well-timed action on someone's part, and I did have a very nice day!
I got the call in Pearland, Texas at 12:58am while I was at work. It was left on my home phone message machine.

My wife received this call and loved the message. From the negative comments I read on this board, I do not think many of these people deserve a call and appreciation.
AprilKitten-Houston I to got the same message saying, "They don't mean to bother me but they just wanted to let me know how appreciated I was cause I give of myself to help others and that they felt I needed to hear that today". They were right I needed to hear it and it does mean alot cause God sends Angels through phone calls too. We don't need a pat on our backs for every time we do things to help family or friends but its good to hear that someone has taken the time to call and tell us that. It makes me Thankful and Blessed that I can help others and blessed that someone took the time to call and tell me something that up lifts me.
