just got a call from this number at about 12:41 p.m. today. i had a call from it yesterday. someone was definitely on the other end of the phone but gently hung up.i wonder if this is a service where they just call to get a confirmation as to who is there and then hang up, making a note that it is a 'live' number in conjunction with a list they are holding. definitely some type of related telemarketing or market research behind it.

I just got the same call. I don't think that anyone had to give your number to them, since there auto dialer can keep calling numbers in order until it finds an active number even if it's unlisted. They don't actually know who they are calling, just the number. It is really annoying since they dialed my cell phone number which is of course unlisted in the phone books.

Just got a call from this number Oct. 25, 2007...no one spoke, I hung up, tried to call them back after blocking my own number (I have an unlisted number, yet my number sometimes shows up on call display). Tried to call them several times, and each time the number is busy (probably busy making prank calls to others). Very weird...it's the full moon today, so it might be some lonely, freaky so-and-so trying to freak people out. Whatever...gonna block it right now...

calling us as well, no one talk when picked up. there is no one responding when called back.

weird i just got this call on 8/16/2010 and i googles this number and saw this page.... i called back and it keeps on beeping busy.. weird. o well.
