I received the same phone call 250-260-3907 which says "Vernon, BC" and no message. Does Canada not have to follow the same "Do Not Call" rule as in the US?

I got a call from this number today and they said nothing and hung up. I looked up the phone number in the reverse directory on 411info.com and it is is listed to a Intus British Columbia, BC with the city of Vernon. I am on Southern California ...so why is this Canadian company calling people in the US and not saying anything and what is their exact business?

Just had a call today Aug 31, 2010 They tried to get information regarding a TD Bank account. I reported it to the bank and they are doing an investigation.

Hi Julie:Canada is not as well regulated (yet) as the USA - we have an 'opt out' list that one must register with and update their info on every 3 to 4 months. I reported this number to our regulating body here in Canada - the CRTC - way back in August 2007 - I'm disappointed the number is still operating at this date.TIA

called around 12:15 on Oct. 24, 2007. left no message and the phone only rang twice. calling my cell phone and home. not very happy about it.

Got the call this afternoon, nobody on the other end. Googled the number and here I am adding to this list plus adding another number to my blocked phone number list
