called me around 1pm on March 16 2010.Was an automated system I heard in my answer machine
I called that toll free number and yes, the lady who answered was very pleasant. It's nice to call one of these places and not only get a person, but get treated like one too. I asked her to remove my number from their system and she had no problem taking care of it. Other Telemarketer / Survey companies should take lessons from this place. Thanks again to 800Notes for helping people like us reduce the number of pesky phone calls. : )
www.sqmgroup.com has a 'contact us' section on this website. It can be used and just put xxx's in the boxes and use their email address ofinform@sqmgroup so that they don't find out your email and telemarket through email
I received on my cell some calls yesterday and today from this same number. I as well picked up and after saying hello a few times and no answer so I hung up(Toronto). I tried to call rogers wireless to block the number but apparently they can not do that on a cell phone...only a land line...that sucks. I am now trying to contact the government of Ontario to see ehat else I could do. Maybe even call the police station to investigate...this is soooo annoying. I'll keep you all posted
I live in Maryland, USA no where near Canada. Yet this number came up today in my caller-id.British Columbia.
Odd, I just called Rogers to get tech support as my phone had no dial tone, and Internet went off-line. They fixed the problem, but then five minutes later I get a call from this 1-250-260-3907 #. I answer, no one there. Five minutes later, they call again. Again, no one there. I have a feeling it was Rogers calling back to do a survey on 'how good was the service today' ... well, the Rogers service itself was TERRIBLE today, seeing as I lost contact with the outside world for about two hours, but the tech support was not too bad. Had Rogers EMAILED me this survey instead of calling me, and then not talking, they would have known this. Grr.
1 250 260 3907 called me after I spoke with Rogers 30 min ago. I called back it is customer satisfaction survey, press 1 and then # and then they will not call back.
I just got off the line with CMA (Canadian market association)and added my name and phone number and cell number to a list to block from getting telemarketing calls and mail, they say that this should reduce the number of telemarketing calls and mail by 80%. It takes 6 weeks to start working. You can register on line at www.the-cma.org or call them at 416-391-2362. We are not sure if it will help from getting calls from this number, but it lest it will reduce most of the other calls. Another company I am trying to contact is called Phone busters...the service is through the Ontario provincial police. The number is 1-888-495-5801. I have also left a message with CRTC (Canadian Radio-Television Commission)to discuss this further...again I'll keep you posted
