I have a brand new cell phone number - supposedly- and have not given it out to ANYONE yet - but have been called 3+ times from this number. I picked up the latest one this eve, and was a female voice asking for "Jaimie Hill". I said you have the wrong number. What is going on?

Hi everybody!I've gotten 4 calls from KOHLS CREDIT CT in the past 2 days. I say hello. Nobody answers. I came to THIS site to check it out since I don't have a Kohl's card.I just got another call from them so I went to the Kohl's web site, then I went to the contact us page, then called the 800 # which is associated with "Kohl's Charge Card Customer Service". It asked for the last 4 digits of my SSN just like the 262 number. I pressed # a few times. I was finally connected with a real person.I explained that I'd received some calls from KOHLS CREDIT CT and asked if the 262 # was one of the numbers that their calls might come from. He replied yes, offhandedly.I explained that my phone number, which I've had for just one year, used to belong to the Green family. I suspected that if he looked up my phone # that it would be associated with the Greens. He confirmed that this was indeed the case. He apologized for the inconvenience, then asked if he could put me on hold for 1 minute while he removed my phone number from the call list.He came back 1 minute later and said that he has removed my phone number.Only time will tell, but ... it sounds good so far!

Don't risk answering

This info is straight off the Kohl's Website. It is Kohl's calling. Either the person that had your number before or someone called them from your phone i.e. a friend, they automatically store that number on that persons acct. keep getting this number coming up for a call that does not speak! reading the other posts with this number guess it is Kohl's but WTH?

No one there when I answer...message requesting to call if I don't... When I DID call, asked for SS #.REALLY???? Evidently NOT a legit call.Spoke c Kohl's ( whom I DO have an account WITH a credit amount on it) THEY say it isn't their number.
