I have received a couple of these calls recently on my personal cell phone. I just got one today (12/12/14). Its clearly a scam, but very annoying. They say "cardholder services" and do not mention what company or type of card.

This number called me as a recording, informing me that I was eligible to lower my interest rate on my credit card. I have never opened a credit card, with anyone. I reached a rep for the "company" and told them I had never opened a credit card. He argued with me and told me "yes you do" at least ten times and then hung up.

Just got a call on my cell phone also. I didn't answer (was in a meeting) and no voicemail left.

I don't use my cell and it is always Off since I have a company provided mobile device. I turned it on to charge after months of collecting dust. Approximately 5 mins into charging a call came in from 276-957-8878. Pick up the phone but no answer! Drill: always look up fictitious caller/number on Google and you'll be surprised how many desperate suckers are out there that will do just about anything to steal your money.Remember, every second a Sucker is born!

I got a call today from this number, but unless they leave a message I do not answer it. Unfortunately I have all our cell phones and house phones on the Do Not Call list and I still get calls. That's government for you.

Continue to receive calls from these people and would like them to stop as soon as I ask to speak to a superviser or ask to be put on the do not call list they hang up on me.

Just block the number on your phone

Just got a call from 276-957-8878 on my cell, but didn't answer it. After reading all of the above messages, I'm glad I didn't!

Did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Fishing for credit card info....scam of some kind it would appear. ..spread the word
