I received a call on my cell phone from this number. I did not answer because it was a number from Virginia and not a number belonging to anyone who should have had my number.

So I got a call from these guys on my cell, same message as on my landline.Since I only recently posted my cell number online, they have (or buy) numbers from people who sift through job websites for information.

I tried calling number +1 276-957-8878 back all I got was a recording that said the number you've dialed is currently out of service this is a recording.

Called me this morning

This number is from a fake Credit Card scam and is related to the Fake IRS agent scam, and the Fake Bill Collector for the Online Cash Pawn scam. I have analized the voices from all calls that I have received over the years and these calls are from a group of about 20 people. These folks will try either say one on one intimidation or call bombing you at once from say ten different numbers over a course of say a week pretending to be from different companies.I have filed a ton of FCC complaints. Please do NOT give them your Social Security number because they use this for ID Theft. Ask them for written proof through the mail of which they never will provide.

HELLO phone scammers!!We, the general public, are NOT as stupid as you all seem to think we are. Your tactics (that would be your attempted scams) are not going to work. We know not to give out important information to some idiot who calls us out of the blue or because you try to threaten us. And in case you did not know, making threats to someone over the phone across state lines is a FEDERAL crime and you can be prosecuted under the Patriot Act. An all expenses paid trip to Guantanamo Bay is in your future.
