I received an unwanted call from the above number - 281-217-0241. I do not know anyone with that number, and the call came to my mobile phone.
We keep getting messages from credit card companies. We have asked them to take us off their list, but they do not comply. I an very, very suspicious that this number is one of those. That seems to be the "unknown" calls that we get. They should not even have my cell number as I have not given it out to any credit card companies of which I am aware.
i'm making a list of all those calls and will not answer then. one time i did, and kept telling the caller i wanted off the list, he laughed and said it would never happen. so to help my blood pressure i hang up on them when i see the number pop up. makes me feel like i do have some control. these people must get paid per dialed number. what a way to make a living.
I think it's a debt collector. Got any unpaid bills or credit cards? Has nothing to do with DNC
This number is just one of many other phone numbers belonging to a scandalous operation I call "Hydra".Each time I report a new unknown,another crops up two weeks later.Per the BBB please contact the Federal Trade Commission,who has a 'National Do Not Call Registry',in which we can report one(or morr!) of these telemarketers.Contacting these fraudsters directly is pointless but kudos to the person who mentioned sex with an operator's mother.I ran a credit report the first time they contacted me by phone and by mail,feeling creeped out,but clearly their real aim is telemarketing.that's all.report each number with the FTC and block/Google Voice their obnoxious "offers".remember that you are dealing with a "hydra"...

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
