Thank you guys for posting this scammer info. I just got the same email from Alan Fisher for a desk on Craigslist. sounded too fishy to me, so I googled and found this. I am that "older person" that someone mentioned in an earlier post - at least I have it together enough to google it - but it was closeThanks for listing the other scammers' emails too.this guy is a real creep

God bless the person who started this discussion/forum. I got the same email as most of you from Kim Williams. I was about to respond to Kim but was curious to know what kind of company is this wikizplc. So started googling and found this blog. I am going to block this person now.

Got hit up with this scam on two different posts. One used a different phone number, so it may actually be different scammers. It ran like this:

I also have contact with Lisa Brown. I received a check for $2700. It was sent from an office in Washington,DC. by a Charles Luther. I called the number on the fed ex envelope and got Mr Luther who said he didn't know what I was talking about and gets about 100 calls a week like that. I then called the bank the check was written from. The routing #was legit and legit account, a real estate company was the owner of account. But not enough of money in account to cover check. So, who are these other people--Mr Luther and the real estate firm owning the checking account and who is Lisa Brown? I was advised to contact local police. Any thoughts?

same thing- trying to see an item on craigslist. got simultaneous responses from Tatrina Johnsons and Eva Knight. I emailed both saying that the item is available. tatrina hasnt gotten back yet but eva wrote this: Hello,Thanks for the response...
