Got the following email from this person...did not leave her name or anything. I had listed the bike the night before so something wasnt right. Email was from jjmont56@aol.com. This time it was "Janet Cole" ... but, she's at it again. I just got an 'offer' from her for an item I posted on craigslist. I will report her to craigslist. Thanks everyone for posting this helpful information!!!

I received the same email from Kim Williams. Believing that the person is actually deaf, I sent my address and received a check for 6 times the amount I had asked. I then realized it was a scam and wrote back with this response, and copies this website link.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I hope that you will one day find righteousness, honesty, truth and a desire to make the world a better place, instead of the darkness that you live in. Please know that cheaters, liars and thieves will not enter the kingdom of heaven, but will face death and destruction for eternity. Think about it! Eternity is a long time to be dwelling in the flames. My advice to you is to seek repentance from the son of God and realize that there is a better life living in goodness and honesty.I forgive you for your actions towards me and pray that you will see the light before your time is over.

I got a message from Kim Williams too after I posted an ad for some chairs on Craigslist. Thanks and stay blessedSo let me ask, how in the world do they scam you? I mean they're literally offering to send money via FedEx, let's just say they did really send the money, then what??? You're sitting there with a check for more than what you were asking initially, and then what? I don't get it, all I know is that they are trying to do something shady, I just don't understand all the steps in their process.

I received the same exact email in response to a Craigslist ad. Only mine went farther than that. The email used was arabmoniemaker@gmail.com, using the name Sammie Jackson. Said he wanted the car I have for his cousin and would even have it transported from the state I live in to where his cousin lives. this was back mid-October, I received a certified bank check from Citibank with no information as to what is was for. The return address was Isabella Moore from Gaitherburg, MD. When I called Citibank, they told me it was a good check! But I needed to call that branch when they open Monday.
