If I don't recognize the number, have no dealings with the geographic area calling, I don't answer. Then I come here to check things out. 99% of the time I block the number.Do Not Call Registry would work if the companies selling the ability to spoof phone numbers were shut down.
Called my cellular phone at 11:05 this date. I do not answer calls unless I recognize the number, assuming that if the person really needs to reach me, they will leave a voice message. These people did not. I am assuming, based on other posts, that this is a telemarketer trying to sell a car warranty. I am on the DNC but get calls like this on a daily basis. The DNC list is a joke.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
