Got a call from this number that stated that I have to pay the debt I owe back today or they will prosecute me for not making the payments as fraudulent and bad checks. I am terrified. Can they actually do this? I have a lawyer that told me to tell them that he is now handling the case but I'm afraid to go home. I have three kids. Can I really be arrested for nonpayment? or is it just a simple summons? help! They are very rude. They sound like native tongue. The names given were Steve Hart and Michael Davis...

They sent me an email. They mention the same things below also that they were from the law firm Holland AndHart Associates. I looked up this law firm and it only gives me Holland & Hart LLC which means they are phonies. As you can tell they spelled out "And" instead of using the symbol "&" so they won't get sued. Also, their names were not in the companies directory besides the phone numbers don't match. Don't be afraid.

I got an email from them with all my right information to an email address I use for fun I have a legal email address and one I use for friends so I read the email had my right SSN had my right address but didn't have my middle initial which I go by and if they had been trying to contact me why not call me instead of sending a informal email to my email I use for games n stuff I called the number they didn't answer the number with the holland n hart crap I instantly hung up n this jus happened up me a minute ago smh

I got the same email and the harassing phones calls as well and they sound like there are phonies and its fraud I am going to report them to the better business bureau cause its getting out of hand

I received an email from this Micheal David (even mispelled the name) the sentence structure and grammer is so poor it can only be a phishing email. So many misspelled words as well. This person that sent this is not very educated. Just some poor jerk out to extort money if they can. My brother is an attorney and I forwarded on to him when I first read it because it had some correct information. He also said it was a phony.

I just contacted the FBI i just got the email.

I also received an e mail from a Robert Davis who said that he was a senior attorney from Holland and Hart, said I was going to be sued for default on a loan that was electronically deposited into my bank account. I've had this happen before, this is a scam, these people are all con artists and are trying to intimidate you into paying them monies that you do not owe and never received. They say they represent AMERICAN CASH ADVANCE. On the internet it states that it is a scam. Legitimate loan companies do not do business this way.
