They are spoofing numbers where they put any number to show up on people's caller ID why are people not reporting them or going the FBI or cops about this.

Male caller heavily accented, could barely understand him. First wanted to fix my computer. I said no. Then he asked me to give him $50, I said no and he demanded why not? I hung up.The only reason I answered was that I have a friend whose late husband was Ken Brown. I am so angry.

I got the same call on Friday with that WV # from that lady and she was yelling at me that my computer was corrupt and she was trying to help me and to turn my computer off and on and I hung up on her. She tried calling back and I did not answer.

I had a call this morning from this number. My cell said the call was from Greece but the area code said differently. I didn't answer and after reading all the info provided on this site, I blocked the call

Left message, "Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello" from a noisy call center. Returned call and found out the number was disconnected. Reported it to do not call .gov as if it would do any good. Must have been a spoofed phone number. Please recommend, when you file a complaint, that "they" fix the phone number so that only phone calls that come with accurate and useful caller ID are admitted. Need to transform telephones back into to being more useful than bothersome.

This is a random number that telemarketers and probably debt collectors get so that you're not able to call back on that same number. When I called the number back, it said it was a disconnected number.

Man with Indian accent called to say my computer was sending him messages for two weeks that it was having problems. I said " I don't THINK so! " He said "Why's that?" Before I could answer, the call dropped or he hung up.
