These people have called several times from several different numbers claiming to be from Windows IT saying my home computer is sending them a warning signal. They requested serial numbers to gain access to my laptop. I haven't turned on my home computer in a year. They get an attitude and are aggressive when you try to ask questions. As soon as you ask "is this a scam" they will hang up on you. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!

I don't agree that such numbers are "untraceable"; the FBI and other agencies don't want to be bothered (lazy mostly) even though it's their job. The phone companies don't mind as it is extra business and they are as good as in league with the crooks.

I got a call from this number this morning. The woman told me she was receiving errors from my computer. I played along. She told me to find the Control key on my computer. I said I didn't have a Control key. She told me where to find it and I continued to say there wasn't a Control key. Finally she asked what key I had on the bottom left of my keyboard and I said I had a CTRL key. She said yes - that button. Then told me to press the windows button and the R button at the same time and asked what happened. I said nothing happened. She said to do it again and I said nothing happened again. She asked what was on my computer screen and I told her it was blank. So she transferred me to someone else. He came on the line and asked me to press the windows key and R key combo and asked what I saw. And I told him there was a cat waving at me on my screen. He said what? I said a cat waving - it was my screen saver. He said I needed to connect to the internet. I said I didn't have an internet connection. He said "Oh. You need to hang up." and hung up on me. I honestly don't know how they didn't hear me snickering the whole time!!

The federal government has way more important things to deal with than babysit you whiney liberals' phone calls - something you ought to take responsibility for yourself. This caller is a versatile con artist with a long history. Ignore and block them.

Have gotten several calls from this presumed "Kenneth Brown", but when I called back the number, there was a recording that told me that this number was disconnected. Wish they would just leave us alone.

Got a call from this number today. They hung up after it rang for a little bit. So glad I found this website with this number! I blocked it. We don't have time for this! Sheeesh!

This is FRAUD. These people are trying to steal information. DO NOT give them information.
