I have been getting these calls for several months now. They used to hang up pretty quickly and now they stay on the phone a long time and said they would not stop calling and that there was nothing I could do to remove my number from their list. They said that they didn't care if I called the police. The calls are REALLY starting to upset me. I think I finally have them blocked from my phone but is there anything else we can do?

I am on the do not call register and have been for several years! Once again, my home landline telephone rang. I recognized the number from prior idiot type operations. The caller id indicated the call originated from morton, w.V. The idiot calling said nothing when i answered the call as follows: "i'm on the do not call register, so go ahead with your stupid scam attempt!" the phone was silent for about 15 seconds and the moronic caller then hung up the phone. I am now filing a formal complaint with a federal agency plus another complaint for violating the do not call register! My caller id indicacted the phone number the caller used was 304-743-8823!

I ignored it. After reading many of these comments, I'm glad I did.

Kenneth Brown did me the honor of calling me. I didn't answer, I never answer the phone at all anymore and turned off the ringer. If a call goes to voice mail or I recognize a name on Caller ID, I may return it if it's someone I know, otherwise these creeps are wasting their time calling me. I get an average of 4 spam calls a day and it's getting maddening.

This # called at 4:28pm EDT. Didn't answer, quit on 3rd ring. Have no idea but I don't answer any calls anymore that I don't recognize. Thank goodness for talking caller ID on my Panasonic phones. Suggest everyone do the same. I would cut my ringer off like la above did but I do receive some legit calls & want to answer. Blocked # on my phone.

Just received a call from this number at 9:30pm and told me he was calling from Windows and I was downloading malware on my computer and my information was at risk. I said I had a security program with my provider and he told me that wouldn't address this problem. He said I should go to my computer and he would tell me what to do. I asked for a number to return his call and he gave me a number...660063204...whatever that is! I said I would call tomorrow. He said what time do you want me to call you. I told him that I would not do anything unless I called and verified there was an issue and could access a person on the number provider. I will not do any of these things but I am reporting to Windows/Microsoft, my Internet provider and local police department.

Didn't answer this time after seeing the comments above. Usually I answer and say "Yes, I have a computer phone and it is not working right. Every time I turn on my computer it hangs up the phone." When they say "Ok, I can help you with that. Turn on your computer." I say "Great! Thanks for your help. I'm turning on my computer now." Then, hang up.

I to just got a call from this number. I am so tired of this crap!!

I received a call this morning from this number. A man on the phone said my computer has recently downloaded some type of virus. I could barely understand him, he had a strong Middle Eastern accent. I hung up on him when I didn't recognize the company name he said he was from.He called back and right away stated the same issue again, that I have a virus on my Windows computer at home. How do people think up these stupid scams, worse off... are there actually people out there who falls for these scams?Who can we report this number to?
