Received a call from this number at ten o'clock at night. They left a profanity laced message and hung up. Called the number back and got a recording that it was not a working number.
Calling about the computer that I don't have. They've called mutiple times and I keep telling them not to call back but they don't speak very good English and Obviously don't get the hint.
Showed up on caller I'd as Kenneth D Brown. The caller sounded like a male with an Indian or Pakistani accent. Told me my computer had a virus or something. He was hard to understand plus there was background noises. Told him I will call police on him and what he is doing is illegal and that I know he is trying to scam people. He ignored me and kept talking rubbish so I hung up.Microsoft and other reputable companies do not call people on the phone!
Called the number 10 minutes after they called me to see who would answer and the number has been disconnected. Definitely a scammer using a fake caller I'd.
Called several times trying to convince me that my computer was downloading malware. I told them that I believed it was a sales call and I was on the do not call list. After that was unsuccessful I informed the caller that I did not own a computer. They hung up on me.Finally.One thing I noticed was that the callers all struggled to speak English, sounded like they might have been calling from India?
Turn your ringer down on your phone or leave the phone off the hook.My ex used to do that since he worked nights and did not want phone calls waking him up.
Caller ID: Kenneth D. Brown. Unintelligible. All I could make out was home security and then I hung up.
I just received a call from someone name{ kenneth d brown },number 304-743-8823. Saying that my pc is sending them a signals from my pc and to give them access to my pc so that they can fix's it,,i told him that im a computer tech and he hanged up the phone....Poor fool is trying to scam someone with a very bad accent from india.....
Caller with a middle eastern accent comes on phone with very worried tone. "Maam, your computer is sending signals to our office & you need to have it repaired immediately." What a load of nonsense. He said his company was authorized by the "USPC - United States Personal Computer department". His company (which has no name) was receiving signals from my computer - identified by my CLSID and miraculously linked to my home phone number. I asked several questions & after about 5 minutes of going back & forth with little explanation from him, he said "Maam, I really don't want to fix your computer now." I asked to be removed from their "calling list" & don't bother me again.
