Home Center SCAM! They trick people into doing fake home repairs just to get into your property to RIP YOU OFF. They either rob your house outright, or do bad "bait-and-switch" work on your house & then jack up the price from what was originally quoted. They bait you with the "government assistance" or "government rebate" programs and then quote their services at TRIPLE what it would cost normally if you hired a legitimate local Yellow Pages licensed contractor. If you refuse pay for their shoddy work or overpriced product, they put a contractor's lien on your house and can legally take ownership of your house if you don't pay it after a certain amount of time. Total criminal enterprise! They've been around a long time, and I'm pretty sure they are run by Gypsy clans or "Travelers." This is very much those groups' modus operandi (M.O.). I've gotten lots of calls from various outgoing-only numbers identifying themselves as "Home Center," and they ignore the DNC list and requests to stop calling. Just write down the number when they call and file a formal report against them as directed on this page at "Where to Report Phone Crime." Oh, and BLOCK their number every time they call, because they use a lot of different phone numbers.
It's none other than the "Home Center" again. They called a few hours ago also from (714) 909-1749
Wow this one goes all the way back to 2013! Guess if the trick works 1 time out of 1000, the trick still works. Blocked.
After 7th call, I BLOCKED this number on my Panasonic digital phone. I can only block 30 numbers, but they are now on my list. They will get busy from now on. I have also complained to the Google CEO about their practice of showing our names. I DO NOT expect a reply, other than possibly a copy of their Privacy Policy, period. Bing.com also gives out private information. I say private, because I have an unlisted number, UNLESS our friendly government gives it out. Very sad.
Calls are numerous times a day. Robo type calls. My home line is now dedicated to telemarketing.
