Someone from this number called and claimed they worked for Social Security.

I received a call Tuesday from someone claiming to be with SSA. Do not know if she is legit or not.

Tour called is a scammer. A lot of IRS scams are going around. If the IRS needs to communicate with you, their first initial contact will always be in writing and via USPS. Don't even talk to the scums calling you.

Rec'd an email asking me to call this number about SS benefits. i didn't call it after reading the posts regarding this phone number. The crazy thing is it used my full name in the email. How did a scammer get that?

Boston office of Social Security. That is why they have your name. Number is legit. If they leave a message, they should leave contact person and extension

I receive a letter in the mail asking me to call an ask for Botany Ma. AT 18669647317 ext.29272 to review my earning record, month I can receive benefits and my claim for Social Security. This letter was from Workload support unit, 10 Causeway st room 901, Boston, Ma 02222. The address on the letter was O'Neal Fed Bldg, 10 Causeway St. They use my son as my claim number. They wanted me to call them before the 9th of June. Is this a scam. It seems like one to me.

Received the same in the email stating to call 866-964-7317 ext 29203 and ask for Mrs.Miller to talk about the month of receiving benefits..Received another one a day before saying a representative may call outside normal business hrs such as weekend or evening. Doesn't seem legit.
