They just called and I actually answered. The man stated they were a computer company security program I signed up for ( which I definitely did not) proceeded to want information off my computer. haha yeah right. I hung up. definitely a scam!

Scam: They call and say your computer has a virus or security problem then try to take you through some steps to take over your computer.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
